We are pleased to announce that Don Davis, Managing Director of OCIMF, has joined the Green Award Board. With more than 35 years of international maritime leadership experience, Mr. Davis brings extensive expertise in marine assurance, shipping operations, commercial shipping, and LNG to the Board’s mission of advancing safety, quality, and environmental performance in shipping.
Don Davis: Strengthening Leadership and Expertise in the Maritime Energy Sector
Don Davis is the Managing Director of OCIMF, where he leads the organization’s work to advance maritime safety, environmental stewardship, and operational best practice across the global maritime energy industry.
A naval architect and marine engineer by training, Mr. Davis most recently served as General Manager of Global Marine Assurance at Chevron. Before assuming his current position, he chaired OCIMF’s Publications & Advocacy Offshore Committee. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions spanning marine assurance, commercial shipping, logistics, and LNG operations. He holds both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan.
His appointment further strengthens the Green Award Board’s expertise within the maritime energy sector and enhances its ability to promote high standards of safety and environmental performance across the shipping industry.
