Josie Gibson revealed the hilarious moment Sian Welby jumped and fell down a hotel bed after a drunken night out.

During her brief appearance on Capital FM Breakfast on Monday, Josie had Sian in stitches as she recalled the story. 

Josie said: 'So basically we were all on a night out once and we had a little tipple and Sian jumped on the hotel bed and didn't realise it was two beds stuck together and the beds come apart and she got crammed in between these two beds. 

'And we were so busy laughing because she just plonked down to the floor, that we couldn't even help her.'

Sian added: 'I was down there for like 20 minutes because she was too busy filming it. We've known each other a long, long time.'

And on Tuesday, Sian took to Instagram and showed fans the pictured behind the incident, where the mother-of-one could be seen lying flat out on the floor. 

Sian wrote: 'For those listening to @capitalofficial and heard the story Josie Gibson told about me 'falling down a bed' I found the photo... @josiegibson'

Showing the photo, she wrote: 'I jumped on the "double bed" so violently that it pushed the two single beds apart. @josiegibson85 hand... not helping, just taking photos'.

Also in Monday's show, Josie stormed out of the Capital Breakfast studio as she broke down in tears as part of an elaborate prank on host Jordan North. 

The This Morning presenter pretended to start crying after Jordan gave her a Christmas pudding costume as a gift. 

The prank began as Josie started opening the present as Jordan excitedly joked: 'I think you should wear my present on Christmas Day.' 

However, the radio DJ's gift didn't land as he hoped and a sombre mood fell over the studio as she unwrapped the pudding costume. 

Turning to a member of the crew off air, she said: 'Tom, I told you I didn’t want to talk about this. I’ve told you, like we know each other, and I’ve told you I didn’t want to talk about it.'

Tom then replied: 'Umm I thought it would be funny because of the Christmas pudding story.' 

Becoming upset Josie continued: 'You thought it would be funny? I nearly died. Like I told you this is not even funny, can we drop this bit?'

Looking concerned Jordan apologised as he began: 'Sorry, sorry. Sorry, I didn’t know.'

Staying in role Josie added: 'This is really bad,' before she broke down in tears and stormed out of the studio. 

As Jordan continued to apologise, Sian Welby ran after the star as she protested: 'No let me, I’ll chat to you.'

Calling from off camera, Josie quipped: 'Go south Jordan North!' as he exclaimed: 'Oh my god I am so sorry. What the hell? Oh my god.'

Jordan and fellow host Chris Stark were overcome with confusion at Josie's outburst as the former asked: 'Is this a thing?'

However the pair were only left squirming for a moment before Josie and Sian walked back in laughing as Sian announced: 'Only kidding!' 

Left in hysterics Josie joked: 'I would have thought I’d be going to Hollywood after that, that was really good! I did not even I realised I was that good, I should be in Eastenders!'

Recovering from the shock, Jordan exclaimed: 'I feel sick. Oh my god I am sweating!'

Sian then confessed she too was in on the joke as she confessed: 'Sorry guys I was in on the prank.'

Jordan added: 'At first, I thought she was joking and then everyone was…Oh my god! Josie don’t ever do that to me again I’m actually dripping with sweat!

'I was like how has she died but I got her a Christmas pudding costume?'

Josie then clarified there was in fact no near death story involving a Christmas pudding as they joked around. 

Fans were left in hysterics after watching the clip as they took to the comments to share their delight. 

They penned: 'Awwwwwwwww my little heart can’t take it for him lol'; 'I was listening to this in the morning on the school run and was laughing out loud haha';

'‘Go south Jordan North!’ had me in stitches'; 'well played Josie, well played. I was listening this morning and thought ‘oh my, is this for real?’'; 'Josie deserves an Oscar'
