Rener Gracie is an American Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor, entrepreneur, author, and martial arts executive who has a net worth of $10 million. A member of the legendary Gracie martial arts family, Rener is the son of Rorion Gracie and the grandson of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu co-founder Hélio Gracie. Rener Gracie was born into one of the most influential families in martial arts. His grandfather, Hélio Gracie, helped develop the fighting system that became internationally known as Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.

Rener's father, Rorion Gracie, moved to the United States and established the Gracie Academy in Southern California. In 1993, Rorion helped create the Ultimate Fighting Championship as a way of demonstrating the effectiveness of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu against practitioners of other fighting styles.

Rener's uncle Royce Gracie won three of the first four UFC tournaments, turning the relatively obscure Brazilian fighting system into an international phenomenon.

Rener and his brother Ryron began learning jiu-jitsu as children under their father and other members of the family. Their grandfather awarded both brothers black belts in 2003.

Rener and Ryron became prominent instructors at the family's academy in Torrance, California. Rather than limiting instruction to people who could physically attend the school, the brothers embraced online education.

Their digital instructional operation became Gracie University. The platform offers structured courses in self-defense and jiu-jitsu and allows students around the world to follow a standardized curriculum.

He brought Quikflip to ABC's "Shark Tank" in 2019. The appearance introduced the product to a national audience and resulted in interest from several of the show's investors.

Rener subsequently developed other consumer-product concepts while increasingly speaking about entrepreneurship and the systems used to expand the Gracie business.

Rener married professional wrestler and actress Eve Torres in 2014. Torres is a three-time WWE Divas Champion who later became heavily involved with the Gracie organization's Women Empowered self-defense program.
