A legendary rock star from Pink Floyd is opening the gates to one of the UK’s most extraordinary private estates, giving fans and car enthusiasts a rare chance to step inside a world usually hidden from public view.
Drummer Nick Mason is welcoming visitors to his Wiltshire home as part of the popular Middlewick House Open Garden event.
The annual occasion offers far more than a traditional garden visit, combining stunning landscapes with an astonishing collection of rare and historic cars.
Set within the grounds of his 18th-century estate in Corsham, the event invites guests to explore beautifully maintained gardens, complete with a variety of plants, wildlife and even a small menagerie of animals. However, for many attendees, the real highlight is the chance to see Mason’s world-famous car collection up close.
The collection is regarded as one of the finest in private ownership, featuring dozens of classic and high-performance vehicles. Among them are some of the rarest cars ever built, including iconic Ferraris and other historic racing machines. In total, the collection is estimated to be worth hundreds of millions of pounds, reflecting both its rarity and its significance in automotive history.
Visitors can expect more than just cars and gardens. The open weekend has a strong community feel, with stalls from local traders, food vendors, and family-friendly entertainment. Live music and activities for children help create a relaxed, festival-style atmosphere that appeals to visitors of all ages.
Proceeds from ticket sales go towards local charities, including the Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance. Previous events have attracted thousands of visitors and generated substantial donations, underlining its importance in the local calendar.
For fans of Pink Floyd, classic cars, or simply a great day out in the countryside, this event offers a rare opportunity to see behind the scenes of an iconic musician’s life, all while supporting good causes.
The 2026 event will take place over the weekend of 6–7 June, and tickets must be booked in advance due to its popularity.
Adult tickets are priced at £20, with discounted rates available for carers, while children aged 12 and under can attend free of charge. If you’re planning to drive, parking must also be booked separately.
Tickets are available via the official Middlewick House Open Garden website.
