A principios del mes de marzo recibí la invitación por parte de la ITU para participar en el curso de Facilitadores de la ITU (International Triathlon Union).

Programa de Formación de Facilitadores está diseñado para «enseñar a los profesores» y formar a futuros facilitadores que impartan los cursos de formación de la Federación Internacional de Triatlón y los campus de desarrollo.

Me considero muy afortunado cuando recibí la invitación ya que desde 2014 no se realizaban estos cursos y solo fuimos 4 los entrenadores convocados de todo el mundo. Con toda la ilusión del mundo, el pasado fin de semana del 7 al 10 de Abril viajé a Laussane (Suiza) para atender el curso.

Después de 3 intensos días de formación bajo la batuta de Norman Brook y Thanos Nikopoulos, y junto a mis compañeros de curso, obtuve mi certificación como facilitador ITU.

Me gustaría agradecer a Zita Csovelyak por la invitación al curso y por confiar en mis habilidades y conocimientos como entrenador. Es todo un placer para mi formar parte de la gran familia de la ITU.

I have had the privilege of being invited by the ITU (International Triathlon Union) to join the 2016 Laussane ITU Facilitator Course .

About the Facilitators Training Program is designed to ‘teach the teachers’, in that the participants will be required to take an educator’s workshop where they will be taught specific teaching skills and required to do mock presentation/exam prior to being certified as an ITU technical official/coaching/paratriathlon classifier program educator.

I am really proud of the opportunity given by the ITU. The last edition was held in 2014 and I was one out of the 4 coaches invited from all over the world. With all my enthusiasm and motivation, I travelled to Lausanne (Switzerland) from 7 to 10 April to attend the course.

After 3 days of intense training under the direction of Norman Brook and Thanos Nikopoulos, and with the unlimited support of my classmates, I got my certification as a facilitator ITU.

I would like to thank Zita Csovelyak for the invitation and for trusting me and my abilities as a coach. It’s a huge pleasure for me to become a member of the ITU family.
