WCNY, Central New York’s public communications organization, will host its 12th annual Taste of Fame culinary fundraiser featuring award-winning chef, restaurateur, and author Marcus Samuelsson on Friday, November 13 at Drumlins Country Club (800 Nottingham Rd, Syracuse). A world-renowned culinary figure, Samuelsson is an Emmy Award–winning television personality and eight-time James Beard Award winner. Guests will enjoy a three-course culinary dinner journey with recipes crafted by Marcus, complemented by stories behind each course. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktail hour, including a one-hour open bar, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction, followed by the three-course dinner at 7 p.m.
VIP ticket holders enjoy all the benefits of a dinner ticket, plus a meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with Marcus, a two-hour open bar with hors d’oeuvres, a live cooking demonstration, and an autographed cookbook prior to the three-course dinner. Following the VIP experience, guests are invited for cocktails at 6 p.m. in the ballroom, with the dinner beginning at 7 p.m.
The fundraiser is sponsored by the William G. Pomeroy Foundation, Wegmans, Wagner Vineyards Estate Winery, Vince’s Gourmet Imports, Billsboro Winery, and OneGroup.
