In 1959, the young Credo Mutwa traversed the remote Inyangani Mountains alone. Sangoma apprentice (healer), he was looking for a specific herb used in the preparation of medicines. What seemed like just another ordinary day in the mountains would soon turn into one of the strangest and most disturbing experiences of your life.
All of a sudden, the heat, just went. Despite being a very hot day, the temperature dropped sharply. A bright blue fog began to form around it, spinning faster and faster until it engulfs the entire landscape. Within seconds, he could no longer see the mountains or the surrounding terrain. When the fog cleared, Mutwa found herself in a strange metal tunnel, with cold silver walls, resembling an underground mine.
The next thing he realized was he lying on a table. I was naked. All around her, grey-skinned creatures quietly emerge. They had massive heads, very thin arms and slender legs, moving cold and precise.
He wanted to run, but he could not move; his arms and legs were paralyzed. "I just stood there, completely still," he reported. Up close, you noticed they were short, "the size of an African Pygmy". What looked like eyes were dark caps, like goggles; underneath them were round eyes with vertical pupils, like those of a reptile. The closest creature excluded a strong and unbearable scent.
After that, he underwent an operation on his left thigh and screamed in agony as the blood gushed. Then one of the creatures inserted a silver object in the shape of a pen into his right nostril and the pain, though intense, began to lessen shortly after. Soon after, a larger creature, with a sense of authority, approached, placed his hand on his forehead and stared at him and at that moment his mind was invaded by clear images of destruction, with cities on Earth being ravaged by floods, fires and other natural disasters.
So something really weird happened... One of the creatures introduced a small tubular instrument black into the genital region of Mutwa. At the moment the object was removed, there was a sudden reaction on his body and he urinated involuntarily, touching the creature's chest. The being stumbled uncontrollably, like an out-of-control insect, and exited the room.
Shortly after two new creatures entered the environment. One of them looked like a big metal robot, heavy and silent. The eyes sparkled and changed in intensity and color, as if they were alive.
The other nude had pink skin, blue eyes, and fair hair. At first glance, it looked almost human, but the body was swollen, disproportionate, and clearly artificial in shape. Mutwa described her as a doll, something that did not look natural or alive. The creature put Mutwa in a position of submission and initiated sex with him, but the experience was anything but human. He described contact as cold, rigid and lifeless, as if being manipulated by a machine.
Then a device was attached to his genital organ, causing an intense physical reaction. Shortly after the creature left the room while Mutwa was left in shock. He reported the burning sensation was so severe that it seemed like his penis had been plunged in boiling water.
Violently grabbing him by the hair, the creature pulled him off the table and threw him on the ground. Stunned, he fell to his knees and was driven abruptly through a series of rooms. What marked him the most was a sight that, in his opinion, haunted him for years: in one of the rooms were huge transparent cylinders with a pink and gray liquid, where small versions of the creatures themselves floated, spinning slowly as if they were in formation, a deeply disturbing scene.
Mutwa has also seen other humans being subjected to painful procedures, including a white man in complete panic. As they walked past him, they exchanged a silent look in fear that he had never forgotten. The next thing Mutwa remembered was to be back in the bush. Confused, feeling pain in my thigh and penis. Her clothes were ripped, her boots were missing, and her skin was covered in fine gray dust.
Wandering down the trail, he was found by locals, who helped him get back into the village. There your mentor Mrs Zamoya gave you unexpected news. He had been missing for four days. Without hesitation, she claimed that he had been taken by the "mountain god" and that others had already gone through the same experience, but most never returned.
