[6-4-2026] The Food and Drug Administration is advising consumers not to purchase or use Lipofit Extreme 2.0 Fat Burner, a product promoted and sold for weight loss on various websites, including https://anasalazar.us.com and possibly in some retail stores.

FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that Lipofit Extreme 2.0 Fat Burner contains fluoxetine in the daytime (“am”) tablets and 2,4-dinitrophenol in the nighttime (“pm”) tablets not listed on the product label.

Fluoxetine is an active ingredient in an FDA-approved drug used to treat conditions including depression, bulimia and obsessive-compulsive disorder. It can cause serious side effects including suicidal thoughts, abnormal bleeding and seizures. When combined with certain other medications, fluoxetine also may cause dangerous heart rhythm problems or sudden death.

2,4-Dinitrophenol (DNP) is a toxic substance (commonly used as a pesticide, dye, wood preservative and herbicide) that is illegally marketed as a weight-loss product and is not approved by the FDA for any use. Short-term exposure can cause nausea, vomiting, sweating, dizziness and headaches, while long-term exposure can damage the eyes, skin, bone marrow, nervous system and heart. DNP toxicity also can cause dangerously high body temperature, rapid heart rate and breathing, cardiac arrest and death.
