Stanislaus County, California, deployed 10 EV ARC off-grid, solar-powered EV charging systems and one ARC Mobility trailer from Beam Global to support charging for the county’s electric vehicle fleet.

The EV ARC systems provide EV charging infrastructure without requiring construction, trenching, or utility grid connections. Each unit generates and stores electricity on-site to support fleet charging operations.

The ARC Mobility trailer allows the county to relocate the charging systems if operational needs change or during emergency situations such as earthquakes or wildfires.

The charging systems were purchased using Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Program funds administered by the Federal Highway Administration.

Stanislaus County used Beam Global’s Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract for procurement.

Beam Global said the systems are designed to help agencies deploy EV charging infrastructure without utility upgrades or construction delays associated with traditional charging installations.

By using the EV ARC systems and ARC Mobility trailer, Stanislaus County will be able to charge fleet vehicles using on-site renewable energy while avoiding utility dependency and related infrastructure costs.
