Ford Pro introduced the 2028 Ford Expedition Police Responder at Police Fleet Expo, adding a full-size, pursuit-rated utility vehicle to its law enforcement lineup. The vehicle seats five and comes standard with four-wheel drive.

The Expedition Police Responder is powered by a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that produces 400 hp and 480 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The new model joins the Police Interceptor Utility and F-150 Police Responder in Ford Pro’s police vehicle portfolio.

Standard equipment includes a heavy-duty trailer tow package with an integrated brake controller and a torque-on-demand transfer case. The vehicle also features a 360-degree camera and a split liftgate with Police Accessory Independent Timed-Release Output, which allows agencies to control access to the cargo area.

Inside, the vehicle has heavy-duty cloth front seats with reduced side bolsters and rear anti-stab plates. A vinyl floor and rear bench seat are standard. Police Dark Car, Police Engine Idle, and Police Perimeter Alert are also included.
