A benchmark run shared by u/Zombiechrist265 on the r/GooglePixel subredit shows a Pixel 11 Pro, powered by Google's Tensor G6, scoring 2653 points in 3DMark's Wild Life Extreme test, with an average frame rate of 15.89 fps. According to the post, the test was run on a demo model at a retail store rather than a review / retail unit.
The result puts the Tensor G6 about 21% behind the previous gen Tensor G5, which scored 3214 points in the same test, and roughly 2.7 times slower than Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which scored a median of 7173 in our testing.
That contrasts with an earlier Geekbench Compute leak reported by us, where the same PowerVR CXTP-48-1536 GPU scored roughly 80% ahead of the Tensor G5's DXT-48-1536 in OpenGL throughput, though it also still trailed the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5's Adreno 840 by a wide margin. Geekbench Compute and 3DMark measure different workloads, so the two are not directly comparable, but both point toward the same huge gap between Tensor G6 and Qualcomm's competing flagship silicon.
As the 3DMark unit was reportedly a display model under store conditions rather than a review sample or a retail unit, ambient temperature likely affected the result, and the result should be treated as a single unverified data point pending testing on retail units.

Instead of sports, I spent my school years buried in researching about everything tech, looking into chips and specs instead of doing whatever normal kids did. I am now writing for NotebookCheck, hoping that research finally reaches more people than just me and a text file.
