Lenovo has quietly released a new 15-inch gaming laptop. Featuring a 165 Hz display, the LOQ Essential 15IRH11 also contains up to 32 GB of RAM, a 60 Wh battery, Nvidia RTX graphics and a choice of new Intel processors.
On top of that, the LOQ Essential 15IRH11 comes from the factory with 8 GB, 16 GB or 32 GB of DDR5-5200 RAM and 512 GB or 1 TB of PCIe Gen 4 (M.2 2242) storage. All SKUs contain a 60 Wh battery and support 135 W charging via a proprietary Slim Tip connection, though. Likewise, the laptop finds itself with a 15.3-inch IPS display that combines a 1,920 x 1,200-pixel resolution with 300 nits peak brightness, a 165 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB colour space coverage.
The LOQ Essential 15IRH11 starts at HKD 9,490 (~$1,209) with a Core 5 205H processor, a GeForce RTX 3050 (4 GB) laptop GPU, 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. By contrast, the LOQ 15 15AHP11 currently costs 19% more than its Essential-branded counterpart even after being heavily discounted. The LOQ Essential 15IRH11 reaches HKD 15,560 (~$1,983) when configured with a Core 7 230H, GeForce RTX 3050 (6GB), 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, though. Pricing and availability for other markets remain unknown for now.
