Dell has already launched several XPS models this year, including the XPS 14 and XPS 16, as well as a MacBook Neo rival powered by the Core 5 320 (available on Amazon).

The latest addition is the XPS 13 with Intel's Core Ultra 7 355 processor, a configuration we first reported on in June 2026 when company announced the new models.

Dell offers 16 GB or 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory with either a 512 GB or 1 TB SSD. That means there are four RAM and storage configurations in total.

The XPS 13 has a 13.4-inch touchscreen with a 2,560 x 1,600-pixel resolution. Its refresh rate ranges from 30 to 120 Hz, while brightness reaches 500 nits. The display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and supports VESA DisplayHDR 400 and Dolby Vision.

For those who want a larger alternative, Dell also offers a 14-inch model with the same Core Ultra 7 355 processor that we reviewed earlier this year.

Despite its compact size, the XPS 13 starts at just 1 kg (2.2 lbs) and measures 12.7 mm thick, making it lighter than the 13-inch MacBook Air M5, which weighs 1.23 kg.

The XPS 13 has a 52 Wh battery and comes with a 65 W USB-C GaN Slim AC adapter, while the MacBook Air M5 has a slightly larger 53.8 Wh battery and comes with a 30 W or 35 W adapter, depending on the configuration. Apple also supports fast charging with a 70 W or higher USB-PD power source.

The XPS 13 also features a dual-fan cooling system, a precision touchpad, an 8 W quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, a 2 MP FHD IR camera and two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support.

The Core Ultra 7 355 configurations are available on Dell's official website. The prices are:

• 16 GB/512 GB: 14,464 yuan (around $2,145)
• 16 GB/1 TB: 16,449 yuan (around $2,440)
• 32 GB/512 GB: 18,027 yuan (around $2,674)
• 32 GB/1 TB: 20,011 yuan (around $2,968)

The new configurations are currently available in China, while Dell has yet to announce their availability in other markets.
