Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is one of the most acclaimed game sequels ever made, with 6 million copies sold since launch.Warhorse's acclaimed medieval RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, is 60% off at $23.99 until 24 August, alongside the DLC-complete Royal Edition at $31.99 — also 60% off. The expansion pass is finished, so there's nothing left to wait for.
The Royal Edition is the much more interesting number at $31.99, down from $79.99. That bundle, which was previously sold as the Gold Edition, now comes with all three story expansions: Brushes with Death, Legacy of the Forge, and Mysteria Ecclesiae, the last of which landed in November 2025. The expansion pass is now complete. Unlike most discounted RPGs, there's no pending content to hold out for.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 launched in February 2025 and has aged unusually well. It sits at an impressive 93% positive across more than 192,000 Steam reviews, with roughly 11,000 players in-game as of writing, and holds an OpenCritic Top Critic Average of 89. Sales passed six million copies in June 2026, having crossed one million inside 24 hours of release. The original still leads the franchise at over 10 million, but the sequel has proven itself more than worthy.
Free updates since launch have added hardcore mode — which disables autosaving and forces negative starting traits — along with horse racing and barber-shop customization.
On the hardware end, KCD2 is pretty forgiving at the entry point than its reputation suggests. Minimum requirements ask for a GTX 1060 or RX 580, a Ryzen 5 2600 or Core i5-8400, and 16 GB of RAM, though 100 GB of SSD space is mandatory and the CryEngine build is notably CPU-bound. However, it scales quick: 1440p at 60 fps on high wants an RTX 4070 and 32 GB of RAM.
Handheld owners are also covered. The game is Steam Deck Verified: players report roughly 35 to 45 fps on medium settings. You can check out the deal on Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 here.

Most of my time goes into writing - and somehow it hasn’t stopped being fun yet. My work mainly revolves around everyday tech, gaming, watches, DIY modding, and the occasional piece on tech-policy chaos when companies and governments clash. I try to keep things simple and honest, without sounding like a product brochure. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering and an Associate Degree in English Studies from the College of New Caledonia in British Columbia, Canada. Away from articles and deadlines, life usually shifts to making music, taking photos, or trying to finish games that should have been completed months ago.
