Lenovo has finally released one of its long-awaited 14-inch laptops internationally. Equipped with an unusual motorised display hinge, the ThinkBook Plus G7 Auto Twist also packs Intel Arc B390 graphics and a 1,100-nit OLED display in a housing with a 75 Wh battery rated for over 21 hours of battery life in official tests.
Currently, the ThinkBook Plus G7 Auto Twist starts at €2,559-€3,049 in the Eurozone with the Core Ultra 5 325, 32 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. At the time of writing, Lenovo has priced the same configuration in the UK at £2,220 (~$2,991), including VAT. Moreover, the company charges €300-€330/£260 for the Core Ultra X7 358H, which brings around 36% higher CPU performance and around twice the GPU performance via the Arc B390.
However, all configurations ship with a 75 Wh battery that supports 100 W charging. Reportedly, the ThinkBook Plus G7 Auto Twist lasts over 21 hours in the JEITA-BAT 3.0 test at 200 nits, or over 18 hours in MobileMark 30 at 250 nits. On top of that, Lenovo always includes an 1800p OLED touchscreen display with a 30-120 Hz variable refresh rate and 500 nits SDR/1,100 nits HDR peak brightness.
