The Mijia Capsule Coffee Machine is also available in GermanyXiaomi has expanded the availability of its latest coffee maker beyond China, releasing the capsule machine on international markets. The unit is designed for quick, hassle-free brewing without the mess of ground coffee.
Xiaomi has launched its latest coffee maker in Germany, designed for quick and hassle-free brewing. As a capsule-based system, it eliminates the need to handle ground coffee. We previously reported on the Mijia Capsule Coffee Machine when a global launch seemed imminent, and the model is now officially available directly from Xiaomi for €104.90. First-time buyers can also apply a 10-percent discount code at checkout.
As the name implies, the machine relies on pre-portioned capsules rather than ground beans and traditional filters. While convenient, single-use capsules are generally more expensive and less environmentally friendly than compostable paper filters. The package includes a magnetic holder that stores up to 20 capsules and can be attached to metal surfaces, such as a refrigerator. According to Xiaomi, the machine supports most standard capsules on the market—with specific dimensions listed on the product page—including those with aluminum, paper, or silicone seals.
The device features a removable 650-milliliter water tank for easy refilling at the tap, with preheating taking just 25 seconds. Its internal pump operates at a rated pressure of 19 bar, though this reflects maximum pump capacity rather than sustained brewing pressure. Operating noise is kept to a minimum, with Xiaomi citing sound levels of just 55 dBA. Additional features include a height-adjustable cup tray and two programmable cup size options.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.
