The RayNeo iO Smart Glasses are the latest entry in the company’s smart glass range, which currently includes the X2 and X3 Pro. The GT Series will join the Air series with more premium features and a higher price point.

RayNeo is expanding its selection of smart glasses with two new additions, the RayNeo iO Smart Glasses and the RayNeo GT Series. The latter includes the GT and GT Max models, taking on the likes of Xreal One Pro, Rokid Max 2, and the Viture Luma Ultra. With the RayNeo iO, the company wants to offer AI features but without a camera.

RayNeo iO Smart Glasses features

With an AZ91D magnesium-aluminum alloy and dual aerospace-grade titanium build, the RayNeo iO glasses come in at just 33 grams, making them one of the lightest AI glasses on the market. They feature an all-day waveguide display that is powered by the 0.085cc monochrome green Firefly Nano Engine. RayNeo claims the text can reach 1,300 nits of peak brightness.

The ambient AI integration and four mics allow the smart glasses to capture conversation contexts, provide live translations, auto teleprompter functions, and more. There is also an optional Multi-Model AI tier that lets you choose between Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, and DeepSeek through the companion app.

RayNeo iO Smart Glasses do not have any speakers but transmit audio through bone conduction. There is a rotary dial to control on-screen settings, Bluetooth 5.4 for connectivity, IP54 durability, and official MFI (Made for iPhone) licensing. All these features are backed by a 240 mAh battery, which can last up to two days, as per RayNeo’s claims.

RayNeo GT Series features

Designed for media and gaming, the GT and GT Max come in at 68 grams and 78 grams, respectively. The former is powered by the Birdbath engine, while the latter runs on the Peacock Optical Engine 3.0 Max. Both use Micro-OLED displays with 1,200 nits perceived brightness, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and Dolby Vision support. The GT is capable of a 46-degree FoV, but the Max can go up to 59 degrees. This allows the GT to produce up to a 231-inch image with reference to the user's immediate surroundings, while the GT Max can go up to a claimed 307 inches. That said, the distance at which these screen sizes can be achieved is unclear. Both come with quad-B&O speakers and a 3DoF chip.

The GT Max also comes with three IPD sizes: small, medium, and large, covering under 64mm, 64mm to 67mm, and over 67mm IPDs. Of course, you can get lens inserts to match your prescription.

RayNeo iO Smart Glass, GT Series price and availability

The iO Smart Glasses will be available in Polar Night and Dune colors. The company has not revealed pricing yet, but sales will start on September 4. Pricing for the RayNeo GT Series will be revealed on September 4 as well, during IFA 2026 in Berlin.
