MOSCOW, August 22. /TASS/. Since morning, Russian air defenses intercepted and destroyed 250 Ukrainian drones over various Russian regions and the waters of the Black and Azov seas, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"Throughout the day, starting from 8:00 a.m. Moscow time and until 8:00 p.m. Moscow time (from 5:00 a.m. GMT until 5:00 p.m. GMT), on-duty air defenses intercepted and destroyed 250 Ukrainian fixed-wing Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the regions of Arkhangelsk, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kirov, Kursk, Krasnodar, Oryol, Ryazan, Samara, Saratov, Tver, Tula, Ulyanovsk, the Moscow Region, the Republic of Crimea and the waters of the Black and Azov seas," the ministry said.
