A few years back, at one of Geoff Keighley’s many presentations, we were given a first glimpse at legendary game designer Fumito Ueda’s new game Project Robot. It’s been a while since then, but Ueda has finally returned to reveal the proper name for his latest game, known as Gen Atlas. Check out the new trailer.

A single player, open world action adventure game, you control an as yet unnamed soldier stranded in a world seemingly abandoned yet filled with futuristic technology. Consider Ueda’s previous work on Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, there’s going to be much pondering to do as well as adventuring. No release date has been confirmed, but it’s being published by Epic and will launch on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X & S.
