Logitech's upcoming G Pro X3 Superstrike gaming mouse has already shown up in a number of leaks, with new colorways and updated internals on the cards for the next-gen inductive gaming mouse. Now, a new leak out of German-language publication Winfuture claims to reveal more concrete details about the upcoming updates to the mouse and its HITS (haptic inductive trigger system) architecture.

For starters, it seems as though the previous claims about a new pink color were on the money, since that version has made another appearance alongside an all-black version. The new leak also corroborates the claims of updated internals, with a new custom NxLOGI MCU, and there are even claims of a replaceable battery to comply with new EU regulations.

Among Logitech's claims in the leaked marketing materials are improved balance, a 59 g weight in the US, and a 135-hour+ battery life. In the EMEA region, the G Pro X3 Superstrike will weigh a claimed 61 g, supposedly in order to comply with those new EU regulations that demand easily user-replaceable batteries on tech starting in 2027.

Thanks to the newly upgraded Hero 2 sensor, the G Pro X3 Superstrike will supposedly have a maximum acceleration of 90 G and a maximum tracking speed of 930 IPS. However, there are already comments on social media calling out these features as meaningless spec upgrades that only serve to offer bigger numbers to marketing departments, instead of upgrades that players will actually feel.

There don't appear to be any significant changes to the HITS analogue trigger system, with the leaks revealing the same 10 actuation point and five Rapid Trigger point options as in the first-gen G Pro X2 Superstrike. It will also stick to the same 8 kHz polling rate as the previous version, although this is not expected to increase anytime soon, given USB polling limitations.
