Kristen Stewart has touched on perhaps being a parent one day.

The Academy Award nominee, 33, said she and fiancée Dylan Meyer, 36, are 'definitely' open to having kids.

When on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, the Twilight star said they have even frozen their eggs.

'Yeah, probably,' she said when asked about the prospect. 'Not no. I mean I’m open. Yea, definitely.'

Stewart added, 'We've done really annoying things, like freeze our eggs and stuff. So if we want to, we can … [We're] keeping that open.'

The Love Lies Bleeding star began dating the screenwriter in 2019, revealing their engagement in November 2021.

She also gave podcast host Amanda Hirsch an update on their wedding planning.

'We're both like really casual people,' she explained. 'And so, we did this sweeping traditional thing where we were like, "Marry me." "You marry me." 

'And then we just never, like, planned a wedding because we’re like, "We kinda did it,"' added Stewart. 

'But we'll do it,' she continued. 'I think we have a very loose plan, which is appropriate to us, for after I make my first movie.'

Stewart explained that she's making her feature directorial debut 'soon' with an adaptation of Lidia Yuknavitch's memoir The Chronology of Water. 

'So, I have to do that before we can get married,' she said. 'Because we have to send invites out and give people time to, like, get ready for that.'

The Charlie's Angels alum clarified, 'We haven't done any of this. This is all hot air.'

In late 2022, Imogen Poots was cast as the lead in The Chronology of Water, which is produced by Ridley Scott.

Stewart co-wrote the script with Andy Mingo, based on Yuknavitch's 2010 book, which she said 'honors corporeal experience, radically' in a statement to Deadline at the time.

'To make that experience physical feels vital to me and what this impulse means … is that it absolutely must be a film,' she said.

'This project has been cooking for five years with the help of Scott Free, whom I could not be more privileged to have as partners and friends,' added Stewart of the production banner.

'Imogen Poots will carry this movie and the staggering weight of Lidia's life,' raved Stewart. 'She can hold it. I am beyond lucky to have her.'
