Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus was involved in a heated confrontation with a Man City fan during their crunch Premier League clash on Sunday.

Jesus, 29, was an unused substitute for Mikel Arteta's side at the Etihad, with Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard and Viktor Gyokeres preferred off the bench during the Gunners' 2-1 defeat.

However, the Brazilian, who played for City from 2017 to 2022 before he joined Arsenal, was left infuriated as he warmed up on the touchline.

In a video that has since gone viral on social media titled 'I love watching Arsenal cry', Jesus was going through his paces.

A home fan just behind him could then be heard shouting: 'Judas, what's the score?'

This piqued Jesus' attention and he walked towards the fan and said: 'I have won 11 titles here' as he pointed at his chest and the floor.

The fan then replied: 'Yeah, but who are you now? Who are you now?', before Jesus pointed at the fan and made a gesture with his hands on his head.

Jesus originally joined City from Palmeiras in his homeland in January 2017 as a 19-year-old after the £27million transfer had been agreed the previous summer.

He developed significantly over the following five-and-a-half years, scoring 95 goals in 236 appearances.

It proved to be a hugely successful time for City as they won four Premier League titles, four EFL Cups, one FA Cup and two Community Shields.

Jesus played a big role in City's triumphs but moved to Arsenal in the summer of 2022 for £45m as he searched for more regular game time.

However, despite a bright start, he has struggled to kick on at the Emirates.

The 29-year-old, who has also won 64 caps for Brazil, is yet to win a trophy with the Gunners and has faced a string of injury issues.

This included a serious knee injury that Jesus returned from in December, but he has started just two Premier League games since.

In total, he has netted 31 times in 120 matches for the North London outfit.

Meanwhile, Sunday's defeat by City saw Arsenal's lead at the top of the table cut to three points.

Guardiola's side also have a game in hand and they could go top on Wednesday if they beat Burnley.
