I think if we get an ad ad campaign w tic tok et al showing how stupid, beyond childish and gross to humanity their parents are being, it would show why kids change their last name and disown their family. It may terrify enough qqq that their legacy will disappear and be bred out into people they hate no matter what they try to do. I didn’t know until 25+ years later that my family were part of a war with the inlaws who made my mom and step dad change their last name to get married bc they didn’t want their family tree sullied. The worst part is that my brother and sister from the marriage are a world class lawyer and accountant respectively beyond anyone’s wildest dreams. It only came up bc of my issues w my Aussie fiance’s “outlaws to be”.
