Married At First Sight suffered a major editing fail during Monday's episode.

About 40 minutes into the program, Belinda Vickers' appearance dramatically changed three times in quick succession.

Belinda, 29, was shown getting ready for a surprise outing with 'husband' Patrick Dwyer, 27, but just moments later looked completely different.

As reported by The Wash, eagle-eyed fans noticed the awkward blunder and pointed it out on social media.

Belinda, who has naturally curly hair, was seen straightening her brunette locks after receiving an invite for a special screening at a local cinema.

But just a few seconds later she was shown walking into the theatre with curly hair.

One explanation for this continuity error is that producers simply used the wrong footage of Belinda getting ready.

The door-to-door saleswoman immediately hit it off with personal trainer Patrick when they met at the altar.

Upon seeing his wife for the first time, Patrick called out: 'Holy moly guacamole!'

Belinda then performed a memorable interpretative dance for her 'husband' at their wedding reception.

During Monday's episode, intruder couple Chris Jensen and Jaimie Gardner quit the show, while Jake Edwards threatened to leave 'wife' Beck Zemek.

Belinda and Patrick are one of seven couples still left in the social experiment.
