Zilch has unveiled a substantial product update, introducing two new membership levels alongside a pair of features designed to enhance how users handle everyday finances. The company is rolling out Extra and Plus membership options, together with Pay Monthly and Advance tools, all aimed at delivering greater flexibility, enhanced rewards, and stronger spending oversight for its customers.
This expansion responds directly to insights from Zilch’s recent Credit Confidence Study, which surveyed more than 10,000 adults across the United Kingdom.
Nearly half of those surveyed expressed a desire for credit products that deliver rewards and savings opportunities, while a similar proportion sought tools that actively support better spending management.
The new offerings are positioned as a practical response to these preferences, combining added value with clear transparency and user control.
The Extra membership transforms a basic open banking link into a more powerful resource.
It provides sharper personalized offers, detailed spending insights, and rewards that can be earned across a wide range of shopping destinations.
Meanwhile, the Plus tier focuses on cashback potential. Members can receive returns of as much as 6 percent when paying by debit and up to 1 percent when using credit.
The highest rates become available simply by activating the Zilch card within the app prior to completing a purchase.
Advance represents a new approach to early access to earned income.
Drawing on artificial intelligence, open banking data, and income verification, eligible users can obtain up to £100 from their upcoming salary as many as seven days ahead of its scheduled arrival.
Repayment occurs automatically once the salary is deposited.
This option sits entirely within a customer’s existing regulated Zilch credit agreement, so no additional application or separate product is required. Applicable fees are disclosed clearly.
Pay Monthly expands installment choices for larger purchases.
Customers can now divide the cost across three, six, or twelve months, with all fees displayed transparently at the point of sale to avoid unexpected charges.
The feature is intended as a more manageable alternative to high-interest credit cards or traditional personal loans.
Like the company’s other credit options, it functions under the user’s current regulated credit agreement.
These new membership tiers and features are being introduced gradually to Zilch’s customer base over the coming months.
Users who wish to explore eligibility or seek further details can contact the company’s support team directly.
The updates reflect Zilch’s effort to align its services more closely with the practical needs and preferences identified in its consumer research, offering refined tools for rewards, timing control, and longer-term payment flexibility within a single regulated framework.
