Jimmy Tarbuck took a cutting swipe at Richard Madeley which left Susanna Reid in stiches during a Good Morning Britain interview on Tuesday.
The comedian, 85, appeared on the ITV show to chat to the presenters about his new autobiography Laughter Is The Best Medicine.
Right at the end of the chat, Susanna said: 'You've had your health battle, but clearly laughter is the best medicine because you are absolutely powering along.
'All the best to you Jimmy, it's always lovely to see you. Thank you very much indeed.'
Jimmy replied: 'It's a pleasure to see me and may I tell you, it is a pleasure.
'I didn't realise you were so young and you were here with your father.'

Jimmy told Susanna: 'It's a pleasure to see me and may I tell you, it is a pleasure. I didn't realise you were so young and you were here with your father'
Susanna and the camera crew in the studio burst into laughter, and luckily Richard found the funny side of it too.
'I'm not even sure if that's possible,' Susanna replied.
Jimmy cheekily added: 'There's another fan lost... only joking!'
Moments later they visited Lorraine Kelly in her studio to chat about what viewers could expect on her instalment of the show.
'He's still got it, hasn't he?' Lorraine said.
'Hasn't he just,' Susanna replied.
Lorraine added: 'Legend. Proper legend.'

During the interview, the funnyman touched upon his prostate cancer diagnosis in 2020.
According to the NHS website, 'prostate cancer affects the prostate gland under the bladder and usually happens to men over 50 years old.
'There are different treatments and it can often be cured if diagnosed early.'
It comes after Jimmy's friend Sir Cliff Richard revealed on Monday that he has been secretly treated for prostate cancer for the past year.
'He's a good lad,' Jimmy said of his pal.
Back in 2020, Jimmy appeared on Good Morning Britain today where he said: 'Yes, I have prostate cancer. I'm going to try and beat it.
'All men out there watching, and all wives, get your husbands to go for the tests, I think after 50… you will be relieved and be with your families for extra years. Men are shy.'
He went on: 'I'm having injections and taking tablets and then I take a yearly cycle.' And he explained the cancer had not spread.
Jimmy - who will be going on tour next year - was also later diagnosed with skin cancer.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV1 from 6am and is available to stream on ITVX.
