Typotheque is an independent type foundry based in The Hague, Netherlands. We design and publish typefaces for the world’s writing systems — from Latin and Arabic to Devanagari, Korean and beyond. Our work lives at the intersection of typography, technology, and culture.

We are looking for a junior graphic designer who shares our passion for letterforms and visual communication — someone who can translate the qualities of a typeface into compelling, thoughtful graphic work.

You will work closely with our Creative Director, type designers, and front-end developer to produce visual assets that bring our typefaces to life. Your work will primarily be digital — designing graphics for font presentations, online type specimens, and promotional materials — with occasional print projects. You will prepare production-ready assets for the website and contribute to visual communication across a wide range of scripts and typographic contexts.

Because Typotheque works across many of the world’s writing systems, you will engage with scripts you may not yet know well — approaching them with curiosity, care, and an eye for detail.

• You have a BA in graphic design or a related discipline
• You have genuine typographic sensitivity — this matters enormously to us
• You are comfortable working across a wide range of styles, adapting to different contexts
• You work independently and communicate clearly
• You are fluent in English
• You are based in the EU, preferably in the Netherlands
• You are proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma
• Animation skills are a bonus

This is a graphic design position. It is NOT a type design role.
