Seward Park Electric has released Maravilla, a hand-built germanium preamp and overdrive pedal with a unique sound.Designed to be warm without being muddy, and open without being thin, Maravilla is a tone-shaping foundation built around vintage germanium transistor technology — the kind of circuitry that colors sound with warmth and harmonic character that silicon transistors don't replicate. The circuit responds to how hard you play. Push it gently and it stays open and clear. Pre and Post control the gain into each of Maravilla's two germanium stages — from clean and transparent at the front end to stacked saturation with real harmonic complexity at the back.
