Love Island's Olivia Hawkins has revealed some of the shows secrets - including a secret room in the villa.

The actress, 27, appeared on the ITV2's 2023 winter series earlier this year and found romance with Maxwell Samuda before splitting shortly after the series finished.

Olivia recently told The Sun: 'There is a room you don't see called the 'Zoom Room'. It's where you can go and speak to a member of the welfare team on Zoom. You can go there and chat to them whenever you want off camera, and it's great to have it.'

Former islanders such as Liam Reardon and Amy Hart described the welfare team as 'supportive and helpful' and enjoyed taking a break from the villa life.

The influencer went on to discuss the behind-the-scenes chaos that regularly unfolded during the famous recoupling ceremonies that also didn't make it to air.

She explained: 'When we were filming in South Africa, it was really windy, so everything would be flying everywhere.'

'We would be filming the recouplings around the firepit and the producers would be having to run in and rearrange all the pillows on the sofa and everything because it was all being blown away. The public wasn't able to see any of that!'

Several viewers picked up on the blustering winds around the villa which can be heard during contestants outdoor chats.

Olivia also added that the production team never interfere or try to steer islanders' conversations.

The brunette beauty confirmed she is still single and looking for love but jokingly added that her phone is 'so dry'.

It comes just weeks after Olivia's ex-boyfriend Maxwell revealed the real reason they split up soon after meeting on Love Island.

The pair coupled-up during the 2023 winter's series but decided to go their separate ways just a few weeks after arriving back in the UK, with some programme fans accusing them of having a show-mance.

But Maxwell, 24, insisted they simply drifted apart once they returned from South Africa, where the show was filmed, insisting 'other things' took his attention away.

He told the Murad Merali Podcast: 'The main thing I would say with the whole situation, when you're in the villa and even just after the villa but you're still in South Africa together, it's a very different environment.

'All that you have to focus on in that period of time is each other and kind of just being on holiday together and it's kind of easy to have a great time when you're on holiday.

'But once you come back home and there are all these other things going on that then take your attention and take your focus.'

Maxwell added that he wasn't sure he saw the pair together far in the future, explaining: 'It really gives you the opportunity to look at it and think is there really longevity in this situation or is it that we've connected and really got on but outside in the real world we're just not too sure if it has that same longevity to it.'

Maxwell and Olivia were the second couple from this year's winter series to break up just weeks after leaving the villa in March.

The finance student and the influencer were said to have gone their separate ways after 'naturally drifting apart'.
