A few months back, ASUS announced a couple of ProArt OLED displays in Malaysia, or perhaps more accurately, one display that’s available in two sizes. The company has done so again, this time introducing the ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV and PA329CDV. These monitors are also noted to be Mac-friendly, as well as featuring automatic KVM switching to allow them and accompanying keyboards and mice to work with two systems simultaneously.

A bit more specifically, these monitors measure about half an inch smaller than the number in their names suggests. In other words, the ASUS ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV and PA329CDV actually measure in at 26.5 and 31.5 inches respectively. As mentioned earlier, size difference notwithstanding, the two are essentially identical, featuring 4K QD-OLED panels with 1,000 nits of peak brightness, 99% DCI-P3 colour coverage, 10-bit colour depth, and Delta E < 1.5 colour accuracy.

The aforementioned Mac-friendly nature is owed to what the company calls the M Model-P3 colour setting “to ensure consistent colours on macOS devices”. Beyond that, there’s also the DisplayWidget Centre – for both Windows and macOS – for more convenient control over the ASUS ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV, PA329CDV, and any other ProArt display. To protect the screen itself, it features a protective anti-scratch film that provides 2.5x better scratch resistance.

Finally, for connectivity, the ASUS ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV and PA329CDV both feature two DisplayPort 1.4 with daisy chain support (DSC), a HDMI 2.1 port, a USB-C port with 96W PD, and a 3.5mm audio jack. There’s also a built-in USB 3.2 hub which provides another USB-C port and three USB-A ports.

ASUS says that the ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV is now available in Malaysia, with a price of RM4,250. The PA329CDV, on the other hand, will be “available soon”, and as such does not yet have a price attached to it.
