Nick 'Honey Badger' Cummins is saying goodbye to urban living as he puts his Gold Coast residence on the market. 

The Bachelor star, 35, built the luxurious five-bedroom house in Broadbeach Waters in 2020 with his partner, Alexandra George.

The original 1970s dwelling was demolished to pave the way for an opulent two-storey residence that includes a dedicated cinema room. 

'It was our first project together and it turns out she's pretty handy on the design front,' Cummins said in an interview with the Gold Coast Bulletin in 2021. 

'From when we had it built I was in by myself there sleeping on a swag in the main bedroom. I had a little coffee table my brother had made… and I had two camp chairs and I was sort of cool with that, but when Alex got here she talked some sense into me.'

The property was listed for rent in May 2022, just before the couple welcomed their son in October of the same year. 

Nick and Alexandra are trading their beachside lifestyle for the tranquility of acreage living after acquiring a sprawling estate in the Gold Coast Hinterland. 

The Broadbeach Waters house features a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that seamlessly leads to a multi-level deck, complete with a spa, firepit, and a private pontoon. 

The listing is currently being promoted by Corey Bedford, a real estate agent from Kollosche - Broadbeach, who has reported significant interest in the property since initiating the marketing campaign. 

'We had quite a busy open home last Saturday with good inquiry from both interstate and local buyers,' Mr Bedford told Realestate.com.au.

This property is currently being marketed with expressions of interest set to close on October 20, 2023.

According to PropTrack data, Broadbeach Waters has recently joined the ranks of Gold Coast suburbs with a median house price exceeding $2 million, with the median house price currently standing at $2,018,383.

Cummins, renowned for his international rugby career and subsequent stints on reality television shows such as I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here, as well as earlier appearances on The Bachelor and SAS Australia, acquired the 551-square-meter property in January 2019 for $775,000.
