Islam Makhachev vs Dustin Poirier will headline UFC 302 as the two lightweight fighters will battle it out to claim the divisional title.
Poirier has his eyes set on the lightweight title belt once again, after failing to claim the title on two previous occasions.
The American fighter will be hoping it can be third time lucky as he comes up against the protege of UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The 35-year-old was handed his first title challenging defeat against Nurmagomedov and will be hoping he can have more success against his protege.
His upcoming fight against the Russian UFC champion may very well be his final shot at claiming the belt as another defeat could see his fall from the top of the division.

UFC 302 is scheduled for Saturday, June 1, with the fight taking place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey in America.
The preliminary action is set to begin from 11pm UK time on Saturday, June 1 / 6pm ET / 3pm PT / 8am ACT (Sun).
The main card will then commence around 3am UK time on Sunday, June 2 / 10pm ET (Sat) / 7pm PT (Sat) / 12pm ACT (Sun).
Meaning the headline fight between Makhachev and Poirier is predicted to get underway anytime from 5am UK time / 12am ET (Sun) / 9pm PT (Sat) / 2pm ACT (Sun).
The fight will take place on Saturday, June 1 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey
