STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — A Fredericksburg woman was arrested after allegedly spitting in another person’s face during a disturbance in Stafford County, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the area of Hidden Brook Drive at about 11:22 a.m. Monday for a reported disturbance.
Investigators said the victim reported that the suspect had been acting hostile.
After speaking with both parties, deputies determined that the suspect allegedly made derogatory remarks toward the victim before spitting in the victim’s face.
The suspect was identified as 56-year-old Rhonda Davis of Fredericksburg.
Davis was arrested and charged with assault and battery.
She was being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a secured bond.
The charge is an allegation, and Davis is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
