Axis Bank on Wednesday said it has raised USD 300 million (about Rs 2,850 crore) by selling bonds to overseas investors to fund business growth.
The bank has successfully allotted USD 300 million in senior notes at a coupon of 5.348 per cent, the bank said in a regulatory filing.
The said notes will be consolidated and form a single series with the USD 300,000,000 5.348 per cent, it said.

The notes will be listed on Global Securities Market of the India International Exchange (IFSC) Ltd and Debt Securities Market of the NSE IFSC Ltd, it added.
