We're just ten days away and with the final trailer coming out today, I figured it was time to start a separate thread.
I know there are lot of leaks and unofficial confirmations of what the film is about and who Sadie Sink is playing, but I strongly encourage those who know that information to discuss it behind spoiler tags for those of us who want to remain unspoiled, no matter how "obvious" those revelations may appear or whether they've been heavily rumored for a long time.
I'll put up spoiler tags and a poll when the film is released next week. Until then, speculate away!

I already have my ticket.
Interesting. I just realized that Mark Ruffalo hasn't been a part of any of the promotional tours.

It's hard to believe No Way Home came out almost five years ago, it's flown right by. I know the wait until it hits streaming and I get to see it is probably going to feel longer than those years! :-)
It's the third of five movies releasing this year that I'll most likely watch though, so it'll be a pretty full year! My spouse is looking forward to it as well, and since I don't watch much of the Marvel output it's nice to have one we'll both watch.
Bought our tickets yesterday.
Looking forward to it!
I showed my wife the trailer the other night. She was like, “Wait a minute. Why does no one know Peter?” Had to remind her the whole plot of No Way Home.

I've figured it out! Sadie Sink is playing Max Mayfield!
But seriously, I'm intrigued by what Feige said about the development of her character and how they didn't know if they wanted to use that character until Sadie Sink came to mind to play her. The way he describes how they came to that character makes me more hopeful that she is indeed not Jean Grey.
Zendaya raised an interesting point about how Peter and MJ switched roles in this film. MJ was always been the pessimist while Peter was the eternal optimist. But now that Peter is alone and isolated from his girlfriend and his best friend, he's the pessimist while MJ has unknowingly become an optimist because of her relationship with Peter. I'm really looking forward to seeing that theme played out in the film.
I loved what Jon Bernthal said about Frank Castle and how he'll fit into this film. He acknowledged that he had concerns about bringing that dark character into this lighthearted film but he knew that they had to address those concerns because the fans would have those same concerns. The fact that he thinks they hit the right balance says a lot. Being longtime friends with Tom Holland undoubtedly helped greatly.
Growing up in the 80s my only knowledge of Marvel characters was Saturday Morning cartoons and their limited live action appearances. Which meant Marvel to be was Spider-man and Hulk. Still my favorite Marvel characters. So I am extremely happy to see them together. Particularly because I really like both actors and mostly how these characters have handled. Well mostly. Part of the appeal about Spider-man was for all his powers he was still a just guy in a simple suit against the world. Seems we are moving closer to that.
Much rather see Firestar if we are going to get a redhead female mutant. For one she was actually created to be a Spider-man character. Also she does not have all the baggage and expectations of Jean Grey. Seems whenever she is introduced all talk turns to inevitably of her becoming the Phoenix.... I have only casual knowledge of the X-men but seems really boring to me. How many times can you go to the same well? Even if you think it was done poorly before. With Starfire it would setup mutants existing in this world. But without being tied to specific storyline.
I also would like to see Firestar but I think it's unlikely that's who Sink is playing.

In an interview, he said that his co-stars at hollywood couldn't speak to him anymore because of his political views. I think he didn't want to be included in promotional materials because he was excluded during filming.

I haven't watched the interview, but if so many people online are saying that an actor is playing a specific character in a Marvel project, it means it's bound to turn out to be true eventually.

It really doesn't.
It may be true. It may not be. The volume of internet chatter going on means absolutely nothing either way.

I'm finding that hard to believe. Can you provide that interview?

Do you have a link to that actual interview?
Don''t take this the wrong way, but more than half of your posts are just twitter links to stuff. So I'm hoping you have a source that can actually back this up. Not a 'I am a person that knows a person that knows a person that knows a person that heard Ruffalo say this'. Literally Mark Ruffalo saying this. Otherwise.... Bullshit.

Okay, he says he's generally excluded by his Hollywood co-stars, and that he can't talk to them. Since he worked with Marvel the most, his co-stars there are probably included in this.

So.... You're making this up?
And, again, when did he say he is excluded?

I actually left a link here, but I deleted it to avoid TNZ. You can also check online.

Okay, the situation with Marvel was just my guess. But Mark said last winter he couldn't talk to people in Hollywood.

Yeah, I'm going to call bullshit on that one. By all indications, Mark Ruffalo is generally considered to be one of the nicest guys in Hollywood. In the above linked cast interview, they have nothing but nice things to say about him.

You keep saying that.... post a source. A video, a link an article. Nothing that has twitter idiots saying shit. Literally an interview with Mark. Unless you can provide that, it's just something that didn't happen.
And again, I really am sorry. I know I am being an asshole right now. But as I said earlier, more than half of your posts on this forum are links to twitter or instagram with 'news' but half of it is from guys like that Jeff Whathisnameagain.
