Ahead of the production for the Mac Mini this year, the Advanced Manufacturing Center in Houston, Texas, was opened by Apple. This is the same facility in Houston where AI servers are made by Apple.

Medium and small businesses are able to pay a visit to the facility that is 20,000 square-foot for educational sessions and free training, allowing them to utilize equipment, tools, and the interactive lab featuring a holographic table.

Sessions will be held by experts at Apple, such as principles for advanced manufacturing, design considerations, and final assembly for a printed circuit board and assembly. Those who take part are able to adapt and identify challenges in production.

The AMC will also provide hands-on training to college students locally in the future. This area is part of the pledge of $600 billion made by Apple to help United States manufacturing.
