They've certainly been put through their paces so far on the hit ITV jungle series.

Yet things will be taken to a new height on Monday's I'm A Celebrity as James McVey, Rita Simons and John Barrowman team together for a terrifying rock abseiling Bushtucker Trial.

In a preview video ahead of the episode, it sees the singer, 24, soap star, 41, and actor, 51, walk towards a cliff edge as they asses what they'll be doing.

To which John says: 'I think we're going down a rock face...'

With Rita sarcastically replying: 'Oh, amazing.'

The three celebrities then analyse the Bushtucker Trial, which has three separate abseiling ropes and yellow flags. 

John jokes: 'Who wants to go first?' with James sweetly volunteering himself, he says: 'I'll go first, mate, then I can go down and give you a heads up.'

'So there are three flags, you grab the first, [Rita] second and I'll do the third,' John adds. 

'Let's do this... oh my God, we need to hurry up, time is ticking!'

The Bushtucker Trial comes after James shocked the public as he branded fans 'd****' over their decision to vote for Nick Knowles as the new camp leader.

Following his fierce remark, furious viewers took to Twitter in their droves as they called out The Vamps singer, 24, for his outburst.

The Too Good to be True hitmaker was less than impressed by the public's vote in deciding who would become camp leader, which was appointed to DIY SOS host Nick, 56.

Following the news, he raged: 'The public have done it not to be nice, but to be absolute d**** - because they know that Nick cooks everything.

'Nick does everything for us. They're doing it to throw a spanner in the works.'
