Selenite changes key properties of pancreatic cancer cells in experimental models

Researchers at Karolinska Institutet report in the Journal of Experimental & Clinical Cancer Research that sodium selenite not only can damage tumor cells but also influence characteristics linked to tumor aggressiveness and treatment response. The findings are based on both cell experiments and analyses of tumor tissue from patients with pancreatic cancer.
