“If this is you, we are asking you to come forward to police now,” the PSNI said in a statement.

THE PSNI HAS appealed for the public’s assistance in identifying people it wishes to speak to in connection with the “serious public disorder” in Belfast last week.

The violent riots, which broke out on 9 June following a knife attack in the city, saw people forced to flee their homes as multiple cars and houses were set alight and people were targeted based on their race.

Hadi Alodid (30) has appeared in court charged with attempted murder in relation to the knife attack.

The victim, Stephen Ogilvie, lost his left eye and suffered deep cuts to his head, face and back. He remains in hospital. His family have said they are “disgusted” by the disorder

A number of people have been charged in connection with the violence in Belfast and other areas.
