Suspect sought after victim robbed at gunpoint inside Delaware movie theater

Delaware State Police are investigating after an armed suspect forcibly took money from a victim at a Wilmington movie theater.
Police said troopers were called to the Regal Brandywine Town Center, located at 3300 Brandywine Parkway, around 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 7, 2026, after receiving a report of an armed robbery.
An investigation revealed that a suspect approached a victim and demanded cash while displaying a handgun, according to police.
When the victim initially refused, police said the suspect forcibly took the victim’s money and fled the area. The victim was not injured.
Police have shared a photo of the suspect:
Detectives are now asking anyone with information relevant to the investigation to contact Detective D. Armstrong at (302) 365-8440.
Information can also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
