Indochino is capitalizing on the strength of the men’s tailored clothing category.

The Vancouver-based company will open 10 new showrooms around the U.S. in 2027. The first six will open early next year in Cherry Hill, N.J.; Columbus, Md.; Ross Park, Pa.; Brea, Calif.; Roosevelt Field, N.Y., and Boca Raton, Fla. The other four locations will be revealed once sites are selected and leases are signed, the company said.

The first six locations were selected based on customer demand and what the company sees as a white space in the market and come after six consecutive quarters of positive earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, Indochino said.

“This is the biggest bet we’ve placed on stand-alone retail in years, and it is not a bet we would make without the results to back it up,” said Drew Green, president and chief executive officer of Indochino. “Our customers keep telling us they want the Indochino experience closer to home, and six straight quarters of positive EBITDA gives us the confidence to go get it for them. This is a statement about where this brand is headed.”

Each new showroom will offer individual styling with the company’s Style Guides and a wide range of fabrics for its made-to-measure suits, shirts and outerwear.

Indochino was started in 2007 by two University of Victoria students who were frustrated by the high cost and poor fit of off-the-rack suits. Green joined the company as CEO in 2015 and today it operates a fleet of some 70 showrooms in the U.S. and Canada.
