'Let's Marry Harry,' 'Outer Banks' Season 5, and 'My Brilliant Career' are all coming to Netflix in August 2026.

Stuck in the summer doldrums? Netflix might have what you need to shake up your watchlist as the season draws to a close. The streamer’s August 2026 lineup of original series and TV shows include a new reality show featuring a familiar face, the final season of a popular teen drama, and a period drama about a young woman determined to make her mark on the world.

‘Let’s Marry Harry’

Will reality show regular Harry Jowsey ever settle down? Twenty women will try to woo the notorious Too Hot to Handle and Perfect Match alum in this new reality dating series. To help him make his choice, Harry will rely on the guidance of his friends Amanda Kloots, Perfect Match winner (and Harry’s ex) Georgia Hassarati, and Sonny Henty. 

“Harry lives for drama,” he says of himself in the teaser. “But it is chaos.”

Let’s Marry Harry premieres August 5, with the finale releasing on August 12.  

‘My Brilliant Career’ 

Fans of shows and movies like Anne With an E, Enola Holmes, and The Artful Dodger will want to add this period drama to their to-watch list. Set in 1900 and based on a book by Miles Franklin, My Brilliant Career follows an independent young woman who dreams of becoming a writer. Meanwhile, her grandmother wants her to find a husband and marry. Things get complicated when she falls in love.   

My Brilliant Career premieres August 13.

Netflix makes another trip across the pond for the third season of Love Is Blind: UK. A fresh batch of hopeful singles will enter the pods in the hopes of finding their soulmate. But will any of the couples actually make it to the altar? While marriages aren’t guaranteed, drama definitely is in this reality dating franchise. 

Love Is Blind: UK premieres August 19. 

‘Outer Banks’ Season 5 

Netflix’s action-packed teen drama Outer Banks returns for a fifth and final season this month. The final installment begins with the Pogues stuck in Morocco and mourning the death of JJ. But Kiara has a plan, and it involves finding the Blue Crown, which can supposedly be used to resurrect the dead. We expect plenty of dramatic twists as the show barrels toward its feature-length series finale episode. 

Outer Banks Season 5 premieres August 20. 

‘Mousetrap’ 

A reclusive writer named Moon-jae wakes up one morning to discover that his identity has been stolen. A mysterious figure known as “The Rat” has taken over his name, face, and entire life. Moon-jae races to find The Rat and recover his identity in this high-octane Korean thriller. 

Mousetrap premieres August 28 on Netflix.
