AKAI has expanded its audio product portfolio in India with the launch of new Bluetooth speakers, soundbars and party speakers. The latest lineup includes the AKAI SB-24 Bluetooth Soundbar, BD-24 Bluetooth Speaker, PM-1400 TURBO and PM-2400 TURBO party speakers.

The new products target different use cases ranging from portable everyday listening to home entertainment, parties and karaoke, with features including Bluetooth connectivity, TWS pairing, RGB lighting and multiple wired and wireless input options.

The AKAI SB-24 is a portable Bluetooth soundbar delivering 24W RMS audio output through dual 2.25-inch drivers. It supports Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless connectivity and comes with RGB LED lighting.

The soundbar carries an IPX4 splash-resistance rating and packs a 2,400 mAh rechargeable battery that provides up to five hours of playback. Users can also pair two compatible units using True Wireless Stereo (TWS) for a wider stereo setup.

Connectivity options include USB, AUX and TF card inputs, while charging is handled through a USB Type-C port. A built-in microphone is also included for hands-free calling.

The AKAI BD-24 is a portable wireless speaker featuring a 24W RMS output and a 2.5-inch driver. It uses a Class D switching amplifier designed to deliver improved power efficiency.

The speaker supports Bluetooth 5.0, TWS pairing, USB, AUX and TF card connectivity. It also features RGB lighting and a built-in microphone for taking hands-free calls.

A 3,600 mAh battery powers the BD-24 and is claimed to provide up to five hours of playback on a single charge. The speaker supports USB Type-C charging.

For users looking for a larger party speaker, the AKAI PM-1400 TURBO features dual 8-inch woofers and delivers 140W RMS output.

The speaker supports TWS pairing, allowing two PM-1400 TURBO units to be connected for a combined 280W stereo setup. It also includes a rechargeable wireless microphone and a separate wired microphone input, making it suitable for karaoke and events.

Other features include RGB lighting, a digital display and support for Bluetooth, USB, TF card and AUX connectivity. The speaker packs a 4,500 mAh battery offering up to four hours of playback and comes with a one-year brand warranty.

The PM-2400 TURBO sits higher in the new lineup with dual 10-inch woofers, a dedicated tweeter and a 240W RMS audio output.

Like the PM-1400 TURBO, it supports TWS connectivity. Pairing two units can deliver a combined output of up to 480W for larger gatherings and events.

The speaker comes with a dedicated guitar input and a rechargeable wireless microphone with karaoke support. It also offers RGB lighting and voice effects.

Powering the speaker is a 7,200 mAh battery, which is claimed to provide approximately four to 4.5 hours of playback.

The new AKAI audio products are available in India through the company’s official website, select third-party online platforms and authorised offline retailers.

The AKAI SB-24 is priced at ₹2,399 against an MRP of ₹3,990, while the AKAI BD-24 is available for ₹2,437 against an MRP of ₹4,000. The higher-end AKAI PM-2400 TURBO is priced at ₹23,990. AKAI has not disclosed pricing details for the PM-1400 TURBO.
