It will provide a space for a structured exchange on key climate policy priorities for young people towards the EU positions in the run-up to COP31.COP31 is expected to further advance the implementation of the Paris Agreement, including on climate mitigation, adaptation, transition, and climate finance, as well as the follow-up to the Global Stocktake outcomes agreed at previous COPs. In this context, ensuring inclusive participation – particularly of younger generations – will be essential to deliver ambitious and equitable climate action.  The Youth Policy Dialogue on COP31 reflects the shared commitment of the European Commission and the EESC to meaningful youth participation in EU climate policymaking, ensuring that youth perspectives contribute to shaping the EU’s external climate action and its contribution to global negotiations.Do you have a question?
