The 16th EESC civil society prize will reward effective, innovative and creative initiatives carried out on the territory of the EU which combat poverty. It is open to non-for-profit initiatives carried out by natural persons, civil society organisations and private companies officially registered within the European Union. It has a total value of EUR 30 000 and can be shared among up to three winners. The aim of the prize is to reward and encourage initiatives that have made a significant contribution to promoting the European identity, European values and European integration.
