A disturbing new video has emerged highlighting the cruelty of Vladimir Putin's army, showing a soldier wearing a red dress, cowering in a corner and being beaten by his commander. 

The unverified footage, shared on X, shows the terrified serviceman crouched in what appears to be a dugout while a commander towers over him and repeatedly hits him with a sex toy. 

The victim – who was forced to wear the dress – visibly shakes as the commander places one hand on him, while using the other to strike. 

The commander then shouts abuse down at the soldier, who keeps his gaze down, for trying to desert his post. 

'So, our girl,' the commander says as he approaches the man, before hitting him multiple times on the head with the object.

The soldier then wraps his hands around his head in attempts to dull the strikes, while he pleads: 'I got shot.' 

The commander asks 'where', to which the soldier says, 'in the hand.' This is quickly dismissed by the commander, who says: 'That's a scratch, a scratch, a scratch.' 

He then threatens: 'Tomorrow, you'll go on the [meat] storm. You can go in that dress, understand?

'And instead of an assault rifle, if you don't go, you'll take this p**** and shove it up yourself at gunpoint'. 

The 'meat storm' refers to the meatgrinder death zone, where soldiers end up being deployed to the front lines of the war in Ukraine where they are used as 'meat for the meat grinder'. 

The incident follows a well-reported pattern of commanders abusing their own troops for breaking the rules including refusing orders, abandoning posts, or remaining on sick leave for prolonged periods.  

The footage joins a surge of similar videos circulating on social media platforms. 

In July, footage emerged of two Russian soldiers being beaten for threatening to complain to a senior commander about assault missions on Putin's meat grinder frontline. 

Stripped naked except for their underwear, with their hands tied over their heads, an officer repeatedly struck the victims with a stick. 

Ukrainian military commentator Yuriy Butusov claimed the Russian soldiers 'flatly refused to participate in suicidal assaults and to die for Putin's agenda'.

In the video, the officer rants that the soldiers were about to complain about their frontline treatment to a commander called Moskayev.

'Have you decided to file a complaint against Moskayev?' he said.

'You don't want to go anywhere, do you?'

Apparently referring to their refusal to join certain death missions on the frontline, he continued: 'They don't want to go anywhere, for ****'s sake. Right?

'Let's go, let's go. Do you realise what sort of trouble Moskayev's going to get into because of you lot?

'[Because] you've decided to write a complaint.' 

Meanwhile in May, a disturbing video showed a soldier wrapped in cling film, suspended from a tree and beaten by his commander.

The footage, shared on a Telegram channel, appears to show the serviceman hanging upside down in a forest while a commander repeatedly slaps him across the face.

His entire body has been bound in layers of cling film, forming a cocoon-like shell, as he spins helplessly from the tree.

During which time, fellow soldiers can be heard laughing and encouraging the abuse as the suspended man groans in pain.

As Russian soldiers are beaten by their own, the nation is losing up to 7,000 of its troops each week on the battlefield in Ukraine. 

According to the CIA, AI-powered sophisticated drones have dropped the average life expectancy of a Russian recruit to around 20 to 30 minutes. 

The current rate is 7,000 dead and 364,000 wounded a week.

AI drones account for more than 80 per cent of destroyed Russian targets, according to Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky.

To date, around two million soldiers have been killed, wounded or are missing since the full-scale invasion on Ukraine in early 2022, 1.4 million of them Russian, according to a recent estimate by the Centre for Strategic & International Studies.

Neither side releases military casualty data.

Russia's troops have struggled to advance this year along the 745-mile front line as Ukraine's drones counter Russia's numerical advantage in troops.

In recent weeks, Russia has been grinding into the eastern city of Kostiantynivka, one of several towns in Ukraine's 'fortress belt', a critical defensive front in the Donetsk region.

However, Ukraine has been ramping up its attacks on Russia, targeting the infrastructure underpinning Putin's war effort.

Over recent months, Kyiv has repeatedly struck refineries, oil terminals, pumping stations and export facilities deep inside Russian territory.

These long-range strikes have stepped up to attacks on warehouses belonging to the Russian e-commerce giant Wildberries.
