ATLANTA — Barring a miraculous finish, Francisco Lindor will still be without a World Series ring when this season concludes. 

The Mets shortstop will be halfway through the $341 million, 10-year contract that went into effect for the 2022 season. He fully expects he will play those remaining five seasons in a Mets uniform and continue toward his goal of winning at least one championship in Queens. 

“The plan is to be here for my contract,” Lindor told The Post before going 1-for-3 in a 4-0 loss to the Braves on Tuesday night. “When I signed up here, it was to be in the good times and bad times and to win.” 

Lindor’s statement of allegiance to the organization follows a lead-up to the trade deadline in which his name swirled as potentially somebody who could be traded, especially if the Mets are years away from contending. But Lindor, who has no-trade protection, views this season as just a blip, not an indicator the franchise has taken a step backward.
