New expat packages are available for Slackware 15.0 and -current to
fix a security issue.

Here are the details from the Slackware 15.0 ChangeLog:

This update fixes a security issue:
Fix an out-of-bounds read and the resulting infinite loop caused by treating
low surrogates (Unicode) the same as high surrogates in functions *_toUtf16.
