Kurt Mann has emerged as a potential target for Wests Tigers, with the off-contract Canterbury utility declaring he wants to play into a 14th NRL season next year.

Mann remains one of 10 Canterbury players off contract at the end of this season, with his future still in limbo one month out from finals.

The 33-year-old is open to staying at the Bulldogs in 2027, while AAP understands the Tigers are one club to have shown an interest in the utility.

After debuting at Melbourne in 2014, Mann is adamant he still has more to give. 

He has played his best football since joining the Bulldogs in 2024, becoming Queensland's oldest Origin debutant since Arthur Beetson last year.

But Mann does want to play for a Sydney club and remain living in Wollongong, where he currently resides close to his young children.

"I couldn't move away from them," he said. 

"They're at that age where they're pretty impressionable now, so I don't really want to leave them at this age.

"There's a few things going on in the background, but I haven't really decided just yet.

"I still definitely want to keep playing, I know I've still got more to give, whether it's here (at Canterbury) or somewhere else, I'm not sure yet."

Penrith pair Jesse McLean and Freddy Lussick will join Canterbury next year, while Jake Turpin, Jonathan Sua, Sam Hughes and Sean O'Sullivan are among those off contract. 

The Tigers have meanwhile signed Jayden Brailey for next year, with he and Mann believed to be the kind of experienced hard-working players they want to bring in.

They too are facing roster changes, with Jarome Luai headlining a list of players leaving at year's end.

Across the league more than 70 players remain unsigned for next year.

"I know I definitely want to play next year and my body feels good at the moment too," Mann said.

"I'm trying to focus on these next four weeks (before finals) and that stuff will take care of itself. 

"I know the reality of it. As you get to my age, these things kind of take a little bit longer. 

"They like to get all their young blokes sorted first and then look after the older boys after that.

"There is a bit of interest out there."
