Anne Hathaway is sharing plenty about baby No. 3, but there’s one big pregnancy detail she’s keeping strictly between herself and her husband Adam Shulman.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 star joined Jimmy Kimmel Live! guest host Anthony Anderson on August 10, where he tried to guess the sex of the baby.

“I consider myself to be a baby whisperer,” Anderson revealed to Hathaway. “Now, this is my first time seeing you pregnant and whatnot. It looks like it’s a boy. Am I correct, or you’re waiting?”

She answered coyly, “We know [but] we’re not saying.”

The studio audience was on her side, cheering at her response, which Hathaway seemed pleasantly surprised about.

“Thank you for the support. It always feels so rude saying that,” she said while admitting that she “feels bad” about keeping the sex a secret when people ask.

Besides the sex of her third child, the internet went wild with conspiracy theories after her red carpet appearance at the August 9 premiere of her latest film, The End of Oak Street. She looked so chic with her baby bump artfully exposed in her pastel blue crop top with a long train in the back. She paired the outfit with a pair of oversized jeans and sky-high red heels.

And of course, some fans speculated that she was sporting a fake belly. One skeptic wrote on X, “Is this what a fake bump looks like? Why does her tummy look so odd?”

Another chimed in, “Fake belly bump. Not even the same shade as her arms!”

One poster claimed to be a pregnancy belly expert, writing, “As someone who has ever seen a proper baby bump. This one looks like those fake ones they wear in movies.”

Hathaway seemed dialed into the controversy and responded to the criticism with the cutest Instagram video of her glam squad getting her ready for the premiere.

She wrote in the caption of the post, “Fake hair, real bump 😘 ✌️🦖🔥☀️🦕😅 Enjoy The @endofoakstreet Block Party chaos with me as my outfit literally melts in the heat!!”

She has not announced her due date, but baby No. 3 will be joining Hathaway and Shulman’s two sons, Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6.
